It may be against medical advice for pregnant guests to use some of Sanadome's facilities (in the most serious case, with contraindications, for example). This concerns in particular using the spa baths and/or having certain treatments.
In general, a visit to Sanadome is advisable for pregnant guests, as swimming in warm thermal waters is usually very relaxing, which will of course be beneficial to mother and child!
Medical advice cannot and may not be given by anyone other than a doctor or specialist treating the pregnant guest! Employees at Scandic Sanadome are therefore advised at all times to refer people with medical questions to the appropriate person! !
Children under 8 years of age are not permitted in our Spa area. Children aged 8-12 are permitted if accompanied by an adult. However, we would strongly advise you to consider carefully before taking your children to the spa area. The reason for this is that our facilities are not geared towards children and many guests visit our baths for peace and relaxation. Sanadome does not have a special spa rate for children.
A bathrobe and hand towels can be hired upon arrival or you may bring your own. We also advise you to wear slippers, which are not for hire.
We do not have a Finnish sauna as part of our spa facilities. It is not possible to reserve our spa areas exclusively for groups, particular occasions or other purposes, such as a ladies' day out.
Entry to the Thermenlandschap spa area cannot be reserved. The same applies for our basis entry packages.
To reserve treatments and/or packages, we would strongly advise you to do so in plenty of time. Sometimes, a relatively long booking term may apply for certain dates, of 4-6 weeks or longer* in advance.
*In particular, for weekends and holiday periods.
If you wish to book at short notice, then the choice of treatments will generally be limited, in particular massages. For our popular massages and Beauty treatments, our reservations department operates a waiting list system.
We most emphatically advise against trying to book Health & Beauty treatments upon arrival!! However, the Sabbia Med and the Kraxenofen can only be booked upon arrival (unless included in a package)!
For a fast and reliable reservation, with optimum attention to specific and personal details, our advice is to book directly by telephone!!
